MSLETB Training Centre-Sligo is delighted to announce that Ciara Lang, one of our Hairdressing Traineeship learners was awarded first place in the Mirror Mirror Awards. The competition is held throughout Ireland, hairdressing colleges are invited to have their learners compete in different categories. The class submitted their work into different categories and Ciara’s upstyle was chosen as the overall number 1. Check out RTE’s ‘Ear to the Ground’ special feature on social farming airing 9th December 2020. Niall O’Beirne (LCA), Matthew McGauran (LCA) and Conall Keane (TY) from Carrigallen Vocational School will feature in the show. The students have been completing their work experience with farm owner Michael Heslin in Gortlettragh who participates in the Social Farming Across Borders project.
