MSLETB Training Centre-Sligo is delighted to announce that Ciara Lang, one of our Hairdressing Traineeship learners was awarded first place in the Mirror Mirror Awards. The competition is held throughout Ireland, hairdressing colleges are invited to have their learners compete in different categories. The class submitted their work into different categories and Ciara’s upstyle was chosen as the overall number 1. Carrigallen VS students on ‘Ear to the Ground’

Check out RTE’s ‘Ear to the Ground’ special feature on social farming airing 9th December 2020. Niall O’Beirne (LCA), Matthew McGauran (LCA) and Conall Keane (TY) from Carrigallen Vocational School will feature in the show. The students have been completing their work experience with farm owner Michael Heslin in Gortlettragh who participates in the Social Farming Across Borders project. MSLETB are delighted that Udaras na Gaeltachta has included the Sales Apprenticeship in it’s Apprenticeship Scholarship Scheme this year.    Applications will be welcomed from Gaeltacht participants with fluent Irish for this very worthwhile initiative.      The Sponsoring Company will receive €2,100 in total; €700 on commencement €700 at the end of Year 1 (12 months) €700 at the end of  Year 2 (12 months)   The apprentice, upon successful completion of each of the following stages will be paid €700  (€2,100 in total)   €700 at…
