The Advanced Certificate in Early Learning and Care (Level 6) and Certificate in Early Learning and Care (Level 5) are new awards that will replace the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Award at Level 5 and 6. This will be fully effective from August 2023.
If you are currently or have recently studied modules under the Early Childhood Care and Education Awards and have NOT achieved your full award, it is advisable that you actively seek to complete all the required outstanding modules to gain your full award as soon as possible. MSLETB’s part-time Adult Education (BTEI) Services located throughout Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim is available to support you to identify what you need to do and work with you to support you to gain outstanding modules to achieve your full award. This can only be achieved if there is adequate time and therefore it is essential that you contact our Adult Education Service prior to the 22nd December 2021.
