Mayo College of Further Education & Training (Ballina Campus) has a history of providing further education programmes to young people and adults who wish to further advance in education or the world of work. We have been continually updating the courses on offer and strive to provide training to the local community in areas where future employment is evident.

The college has built up strong relationships with local employers in the community who facilitate a 2-4 week work placement and allow for invaluable training of all PLC students. Many students on completion of their award have been offered work as a result of their work placement. In addition, we have a strong record of progression to level s 7 and 8 on the qualifications framework (NFQ).
Mayo College of Further Education & Training (Ballina Campus) prides itself in the excellent rapport of teaching staff and the extensive quality assurance carried out on a yearly basis to ensure positive feedback and communication between tutors and students. The support shown by the community for our courses is quite evident by the substantial waiting lists for our courses.
