​The Spirit of Entrepreneurship Event was founded back in 2006. This year (its 15th year) is a collaborative event and is being run in association with the ATU Innovation Hubs and the Local Enterprise Office in Mayo as part of Mayo Ideas Month.

​As well as celebrating entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity, we also use our event as a stage to inspire and encourage people from all walks of life, to help them to pursue their own business ideas. Over the years the event has grown from hosting a small number of attendees to several hundred, and it has become an important platform for our audience to gain valuable insight by listening to those who are successfully established in business. There is a chance to meet support agencies in person and investigate possibilities. 

​This is ideal for those starting a business or people already in business. 

Staff from Mayo Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board will be attending the launch event to discuss the opportunities available across Mayo.
