In 2022, MSLETB launched a new Strategic Employer Engagement Database platform referred to as “SEED” whose objective is to improve our interactions with employers. It is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system funded through the SOLAS Innovation Through Collaboration Fund and was developed by MSLETB. The platform is now being adopted by all of our colleague ETBs across the Further Education and Training (FET) sector.
This platform which will be used for tracking and recording our engagement activities with employers and enterprises across various programmes, including activities such as student work experience, upskilling and lifelong learning for those in employment, apprenticeships, and other services to businesses. By Leveraging Microsoft 365 Dynamics and Azure, SEED provides a secure and GDPR compliant cloud-based solution which seamlessly integrates with our Office 365 applications.
Accessible on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, SEED empowers colleagues with the tools they need for effective and efficient employer engagements. It also includes a convenient web portal feature that allows employers to request information directly.
