Coláiste Pobail Acla

We strive to motivate our school community to realise its full potential academically, spiritually, physically and emotionally in a safe, supportive learning environment

Coláiste Pobail Acla is a co-educational community college established as a result of an amalgamation in September 2011. The school services the catchment area of Achill Island, Currane Peninsula, Mulranny and Ballycroy. There are approximately 222 students, 24 teachers, 4 SNAs and 4 ancillary staff. The programmes available in Coláiste Pobail Acla include the Junior Certificate Programme, Junior Certificate Schools Programme, Transition Year and Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme. There is also an ASD unit, Seaview, in Coláiste Pobail Acla.

The 3rd year Coláiste Pobail Acla CSPE class visited the DÁIL as part of their action project. The students’ visit was facilitated by Minister Michael Ring.
