Launch of the ETBI Support Your Local ETBCampaign

Education & Training Boards Ireland launched for the #SupportYourLocalETB campaign, in Dublin on the 26th of June.

Team MSLETB attended the event and had the pleasure of meeting with Oireachtas members Frank Feighan TD, Senator Lisa Chambers, Minister Dara Calleary TD, and Marian Harkin, TD. They were briefed on the sector’s pre-budget priorities. We would like to thank them and all our local Oireachtas members for their ongoing support of MSLETB over the years.

Over the coming months, MSLETB will focus on progressing the four national ETB priorities, which include:

  1. An increase in the number and profile of Community National Schools nationwide
  2. An increase in the Deputy Principal allocation in ETB post-primary schools with DEIS designation
  3. An increase in funding for Further Education & Training
  4. Restoration of funding for youth work to pre-austerity levels, and ensuring pay parity for youth workers
